About business credit reports

3. What is in a business credit report?
Business credit reports come in a uniform format and are easy to read and interpret. In addition to all sorts of practical company details, the following data can be found*:

  • Recent payment experiences: Gathered from banks, financial administrations of our clients, large suppliers, and other parties
  • Credit recommendations: The maximum amount of credit extended at any one time. Rating – with explanation - on a risk scale from 1 (high risk) to 5 (lowest risk). There are separate codes for companies that are either in receivership, liquidation or dissolution.
  • Balance sheet and income statement: Detailed yearlies
  • Financial data: Turnover, profit, export, a complete balance sheet, income statements (net sales revenue, cost of goods sold, and more)
  • Local sector information: Current state of affairs of the sector the company is active in. What is its share of the country's GDP? Is it going through difficult times? How does the company’s performance compare to the rest of the sector?

5. How up-to-date is the credit data?
Every online report is 100 per cent up-to-date according to our high standards. If a report is not in the database, we perform a so-called ‘fresh investigation’ (see question below).

6. What does fresh investigation mean?
You can request a so-called fresh investigation for companies that are not yet in the database. We then perform the fresh investigation, as a hands-on investigation with the option between normal speed (12 days max) or super flash (5 days max). [Link naar online/database en fresh investigation]

7. Why does the amount of information vary between reports?
This is because the amount of information publicly available is different in each country.
